Bridge the Gap
24 hrs - 3 months
Our Bridge the Gap Program offers support for families in crisis—ranging from 24 hours up to 3 months, depending on need and progress toward a housing plan.
Each family is paired with an Intake Advocate to create a personalized Housing Plan, and a Mentor (if applicable) to provide encouragement and accountability throughout their journey.
Families are also connected to a Care Community—a support network that may include local resources, budget coaching, spiritual care (if desired), community partners, and volunteers ready to help with next steps, including moving.
If the family qualifies for interim housing, we begin with a 24-hour hotel stay, with the opportunity to extend based on daily check-ins and availability. In some cases, families may be matched with a local Haven Home—a trusted family in the community offering temporary space.
